On the world we live in, the lives we build, and the difference we can make.
I write because I've lived the questions I'm trying to answer. More than thirty years in direct sales and leadership development, more than twenty-five nations, a business family and a real one at home — every article starts with something I had to work out for myself before I could teach it to anyone else.
Three things decide whether a piece gets published: knowledge should lead to action, leadership should create impact, and success should buy you the freedom to serve someone other than yourself. If a piece doesn't help a person actually move, it stays in the folder.
Some of it is business — sales, recruiting, communication, the mechanics of building something that pays. Some of it is the heavier stuff: faith, culture, politics, money, and what we owe one another. I don't split them into separate pages, because I don't live them separately.
If something here is worth arguing with — or you have a topic you'd like me to take on — email mlavrenz@gmail.com.
