What do we think of when we think about a business owner?

Is it the guy with all the money sitting behind his desk counting his money?

Is it the guy driving the nice car or living in the big house?

Zig Ziglar said, If you help enough people get what they want, you will get everything that you want.

Luke 6:38 - give and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, will men give unto you.

Jesus recruited untrained men.

Question….

Have you ever hired someone or worked with someone in business that you were constantly frustrated with? Maybe they were always doing things differently?

Sometimes you need to hire the right person for the right job, but if we are always looking for our successor, we will continuously be finding others carry the torch.

When you want to train someone do do something your way, you need to recruit new people.

Building your team in business requires you to find the right people.

• Big companies are always recruiting
• Talent agencies are always recruiting

Training and sending are simultaneous - be willing to let your team fail

Jesus was constantly sending out his team.

Luke 9:1-2  Jesus sent out the 12

V 13 you give them something to eat.

We need to be ready to send people out and train them

Have your team practice what you want them to do. Not by just telling them what to do but by being willing to hold their hand through the process.

John 5:19 Jesus did nothing that he has not seen his father do

Luke 10:1-12 Jesus sent out the 70

Luke 10:17 they returned knowing that they could do what Jesus did

Luke 24 even after they had been sent out, they still didn’t understand

1. How do you recruit the right people?

The right person to recruit is the one who wants it the most.

When you always have the mentality of recruiting the next person, you will always be sold out to the vision. This also gives you the mindset of everyone you talk to is a potential recruit.

2. How do you decide which part of your business to work on?

Work the business you have and build the business you want!

3. How do you build your organization when its difficult to find people to fill the position.
