Election Integrity: The Number one Ballot Issue

Election integrity is number one on the ballot for me this year.

Voters placing ballots into a box

Election integrity is number one on the ballot for me this year.

Why?

Because in order to get rid of the weeds, you need to pull them out from from roots.

Some people say abortion is number one on their list. Others say its affordable housing, or taxes, or water, or data centers.

All of these issues are important, but if we don't fix the elections, we will never fix anything else.

For decades, elections have been stolen. For decades progressive, leftist ideologies have plagued our governments. Locally and nationally.

I truly believe that we live in a conservative nation and a conservative state; but when the progressives control the votes and dictate the elections, they are able to have their way with their out of touch ideas.

Instead of raising taxes, they put fees on businesses to the tune of 98 companies and 13,000 employees leaving the state of Colorado since 2019.

Instead of letting individuals rule their own lives, they believe that more government solves every problem.

The House of Representatives voted this year to fine restaurants if they give out too many ketchup packets because of waste. Shouldn’t a business be able to decide that their ketchup packet line item is excessive and be able to determine that cuts are necessary?

I sat in the gallery towards the end of the legislative session this year at the capital in Denver as the representatives discussed a bill that created fees for online gaming purchases so that funds could be raised for therapy for children who have been mistreated or bullied online. Here’s an idea, why don’t you start by taking the video games away and paying attention to what your children are doing?

I believe the root of most of our problems in our country and in our government is not because we need to vote on ketchup packets and video game fees. I believe the problem lies with who hold positions of leadership.

The bible says in Proverbs 29:2, “When the righteous are in authority and become great, the people rejoice; but when the wicked rules, the people groan and sigh.”

For decades, wickedness has ruled with their transgender ideologies and “rules for thee but not for me” mentality.

If we want to have our nation back, and if we want to get back to our conservative, Christian values, we need to fix the root of the problem. Fair elections, by proof of citizenship, counted the same day and preserved for the law required 22 months.

Tina Peters was thrown in prison for trying to do just that. She acted to preserve the records of the election when she found out that the voting machines were getting software updates that would erase the records. Instead of praise, she was imprisoned.

Victor Marx was asked at the beginning of his campaign if he would pardon Tina Peters. He said no.

Scott Bottoms was asked if he would pardon Tina Peters and he has said since the beginning of his campaign, “on day one.”

Barb Kirkmeyer was asked if she would pardon Tina Peters and she said no.

If you are a Colorado Voter, the only answer to the problems in our state is getting back to free and fair elections where those who want to protect the voters and the ballots that they cast are not thrown in prison.

Instead there is a group of people that are following the pied piper in Victor Marx like lemmings off a cliff.

I don’t take issue with him as a man and a ministry leader. I don’t know him.

I do take issue when he changed his mind about Tina Peters months into his campaign. I take issue because it tells me he is out of touch with our state. It tells me he doesn’t really know what to do.

Victor Marx has done with his campaign what he has done for decades and what he will continue to do for our state. He will raise money and spend it on consultants. Because he does not know what to do.

If he really knew what was going on with Colorado, he would know that Tina Peters was not allowed to show evidence to the jury that would have proven her innocence.

Maybe he has rescued “more than 1 and less than a bunch.” A very honorable thing. I don’t know, I wasn’t there.

I don’t believe that translates to being a good Governor.

I believe that Barb Kirkmeyer is a Democrat in Republican clothing.

Scott Bottoms is the only choice for the republican ticket. He is not a RINO like some have said. He has voted for conservative values since being elected into office.
